Election Campaigns for Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Giridih, and Dhanbad to End on May 23
The final round of campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in Jamshedpur concludes on Thursday, May 23, as candidates make their last push before the voting day on May 25.
JAMSHEDPUR – The last round of campaigning for the Lok Sabha constituency in Jamshedpur has commenced on Thursday, with all election activities ceasing by 5:00 pm on the same day May 23.
As per election regulations, the operation of all campaign vehicles will be halted.
Candidates may still engage in door-to-door campaigning if they wish.
Additionally, all outsiders involved in the campaign must leave the district by 5:00 pm on Thursday.
On this final day, candidates are making their utmost efforts to secure votes.
There are approximately 25 candidates in the fray, including BJP candidate Vidyut Varan Mahato and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate Sameer Mohanty.
The primary contest is between the BJP and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
Both parties have put in significant efforts to win the constituency.
Apart from Jamshedpur, the election campaign for the Ranchi Lok Sabha seat also ends on Thursday.
In Ranchi, the main contest is between BJP’s Sanjay Seth and Congress’s Yashaswini Sahay.
In Giridih, the election campaign noise also stops on Thursday.
The main contenders are Chandraprakash Choudhary of AJSU and Mathura Mahato of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, with JBKSS chief Jairam Mahato adding to the triangular contest.
Similarly, the election campaign for the Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat will also conclude on Thursday.
In Dhanbad, the primary competition is between BJP’s Dhullu Mahato and Congress’s Anupam Singh.
As the campaign period winds down, the focus shifts to ensuring a smooth and secure voting process on May 25.
