Parsudih police unravel sensational Barigora murder case, arrest lady friend

Jamshedpur: Parsudih police have arrested a woman S Tiwari on the charges of murdering Subodh Pandey in a Barigora house recently. The accused was in an illicit relationship with the deceased and according to the police she has admitted to her involvement in the murder.

According to the police, Subodh Pandey was found hanging from a Barigora house recently under the jurisdiction of Parsudih police station.

On Wednesday, the police revealed the sequence of events.

The Officer-in-charge of Parsudih police station, Ram Kumar Verma said that the accused killed Subodh, then locked his body in the room before fleeing the scene.

The OC said that she has admitted to the murder after she was detained and interrogated by the police.

Subodh’s body was found hanging on March 2 and his corpse was discovered on March 6, according to station in-charge Ram Kumar Verma.

Afterwards, the accused was taken into custody for investigation.

The OC Ram Kumar Verma disclosed that Subodh had two sons and two daughters while the accused woman had three children.

The two of them had been having an unlawful relationship for a year and were residing as husband and wife in one Subodh Sinha’s rental home in Barigoda.

Mr. Verma said that the duo had a fight on March 2 after they were drunk.

During the altercation, Subodh attempted to hang himself with a scarf, but the accused was furious and shoved him resulting in his getting hanged in the process and causing death.

According to the OC, in addition to strangling Subodh, the accused made an effort to have it look as though he had committed suicide. She then locked the deceased body in the room and fled the scene.

According to the statement of the accused to the police, the deceased had sold her property and jewelry during the course of their one-year relationship, which resulted in numerous fights between them.

According to the OC, she claimed that he would beat her up whenever she begged him to give the money back.

The OC said that she killed him due to these problems.

The accused was detained and interrogated by the police after Subodh’s son filed an FIR casting suspicion on her.
