Anuj Kumar Leads as City Topper in JEE Main Session 2 Results
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of JEE Main 2024 Session 2, with Jamshedpur students making a significant mark, although not reaching the top percentile.
JAMSHEDPUR – Wednesday night saw the release of the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 results, where Anuj Kumar topped among Jamshedpur’s candidates with a stellar 99.72 percentile and an All India Rank of 4438.
Following Kumar, Sachin Kumar Gupta secured a 99.64 percentile, placing second, with Adarsh Rai and Priyanshu scoring 99.10 and 99.08 percentiles respectively.
The exams, which took place from April 4 to April 12, included both BE/B.Tech papers and a subsequent session for Paper 2, which occurred entirely on April 12.
With the results out, approximately 700 students from Jamshedpur have now qualified for JEE Advanced, scheduled for May 26, which serves as the entrance exam for the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Candidates aspiring to take the JEE Advanced can start applying from April 27, aiming to secure their place among the top technological institutes in the country.
