Corona takes 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Tuesday, total deaths 28

79 new positive cases, infection total in city now 1568

Jamshedpur: Corona has taken 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Tuesday taking the total death toll in the city to 28. On Monday 2 persons had died in the city due to Corona complications. Late night, that is on Tuesday, one more 82-year-old person from Bhuiyandih died of Corona.

According to information received, the deceased was admitted with high fever and breathing difficulties on July 26. He was found positive during treatment. He died late night of July 27, 2020.

Now the city has started witnessing deaths on a regular basis and deaths have become a daily affair for the city.

The administration is working hard to ensure that the city gets more beds and care centres in the coming days to cater to the needs of increased number of patients.

Meanwhile, 79 new Covid-19 positive cases were confirmed in the city on Tuesday taking the total number of infections to 1568.

The silver lining is that on Tuesday is that 7 patients were also declared cured and they were discharged from the hospital.

The newly identified cases are being admitted in the Covid hospitals of the city.
