Jamshedpur: 16 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum district. With this, the total number of infection cases have reached 465 in the district.
Of these three are from Parsudih area, one is from Bagbera police station area, one is from Baridih, two are from Kitadih, one hails from Bistupur, one from Jugsalai, one from Tinplate area and one is from Potka block. All of these new cases are being admitted in the Covid-19 wards of different city hospitals.
Out of the 16 persons found positive for Corona today, two had come from Bengal, one from Ahmedabad, two from New Delhi and one from Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile 12 persons being treated in TMH and TML Covid-19 wards have been cured and discharged. Those who were discharged included one from Jugsalai, two from Dhalbhumgarh, two from Ghatshila, two from Telco, one from Dumaria, one from Chakulia, one from Agrico, one from Musabani and one from Mango.
Yesterday, there was a sudden spurt in the Corona positive cases as 19 CRPF personnel tested positive. With 16 more cases being confirmed today the total number of infected persons has now reached 465 in the district.
