Family Suspects Murder After Scorpio Fire Claims Driver’s Life in Chandana Village
The driver of a Scorpio vehicle died in a suspected arson incident in Chandana village of Jarmundi police station area, raising suspicions of murder among family members.
RANCHI – In a tragic incident in Chandana village under the Jarmundi police station area of Dumka district, a Scorpio vehicle caught fire, resulting in the death of the driver. The incident occurred late at night on the Dumka-Deoghar main road.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Mohan Das, a resident of Chandana village. He was reportedly driving the Scorpio owned by Vinod Kunwar from Sardiha village.
Family members have expressed suspicions that Mohan Das was murdered, and the car was set on fire to destroy evidence.
According to the family, Mohan Das left home at 4 pm the previous evening. They received news at midnight that the Scorpio was found burned with Mohan Das inside.
Mohan Das’s wife, parents, and children are left in shock and despair, with his wife appealing to the authorities for a thorough investigation and justice.
The police have reached the site and are conducting a detailed investigation. However, they have refrained from making any official statements at this time.
