AJSU Party’s Ramchandra Sahis is acquitted by Chaibasa’s special court in a code of conduct violation case from the 2019 elections.
CHAIBASA – The MLA-MP, Special Court in Chaibasa acquitted former Minister and AJSU Party’s Chief General Secretary, Ramchandra Sahis, of charges of violating the code of conduct during the 2019 Legislative Assembly elections Friday.
The court found the allegations against the former minister to be baseless.
In celebration of this verdict, the AJSU leaders of West Singhbhum district warmly welcomed the former minister.
Expressing his relief, Sahis called for respect for the judicial process, noting that while it may be slightly delayed, justice is ultimately served.
He stated, “Everyone should respect the court and I do too because the country’s judicial process is the highest judicial process in the world. I had full faith that justice would be done.”
Present at the reception were key figures from the AJSU Party including West Singhbhum District Executive President Sujit Giri, Central Secretary Siddharth Mahato, Mangal Soren, Sunny Lohar, Raju Prasad, Veer Karuan, Shekhar Sahis, and Rahul Prasad, among others.
