Tragedy Strikes Adityapur Bhatia Basti: 19-Year-Old Commits Suicide by Jumping off Toll Bridge into Kharkai River

Adityapur: In a harrowing event that has left the Adityapur Bhatia Basti residents in shock,, a 19-year-old youth named Gautam Sadhu allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Kharkai river from the toll bridge under Adityapur police station.

At the time of writing, the search is still ongoing for his body, but it has not yet been recovered.

Gautam, a resident of Adityapur Bhatia Basti, was known for his sociable nature and worked in the Adityapur Industrial Area.

He was the eldest of two brothers, and his father, Pradeep Sadhu, is a plumber.

As news of the incident reached the family, they were engulfed in grief.

The police team and divers rushed to the scene as soon as they received information about the incident. Gautam’s mobile was found on the toll bridge.

It’s reported that Gautam had an argument with his friends on Saturday, which had led to his family scolding him.

The despair among local residents is palpable, given the sudden and tragic nature of the incident.

In a significant development, Gautam’s father has alleged that his son had a dispute with three other young men.

These individuals have been reported missing since the incident. The police are currently investigating these allegations.
