Jamshedpur: Kisan Ekta Manch took a pledge to preserve tribal and indigenous culture and traditions.
On the occasion of World Tribal Day, Kisan Ekta Manch took a pledge to preserve the tribal culture and tradition while paying homage to the martyrs of Jharkhand at Birsa Chowk in Jamshedpur.
While addressing the media at Sakchi Birsa Chowk on Monday evening, Gita Sundi, the leader of the Manch, said that on the occasion of World Tribal Day, Jamshedpur Kisan Ekta Manch took a pledge to protect the interests of the tribals and the farmers in Jharkhand.
She said that the relevance of World Tribal Day will be meaningful only when tribal culture and traditions are preserved here.
On this occasion, a pledge was taken to build a Jharkhand that was dreamt of by its martyrs.
