41 new Corona positive cases in Jharkhand, total infected tally now 1961, active cases 711

Ranchi: 41 fresh Covid-19 positive cases were found in Jharkhand on Friday. With this the number of total infected persons in the state has now reached 1961. The state has a total of 711 active cases for now.

21 blood samples from Simdega were found positive, while the number for Hazaribagh was 8, for Ranchi it was 6, for Lohardagga 3, East Singhbhum 4 and Chatra 1.

Out of the six persons found positive in Ranchi, one was a 61-year-old barber. Another patient in Hulhundu village had arrived from Delhi and he is a bank employee.

For now the total active cases break up is as follows: East Singhbhum has 220 active cases, Simdega 82, Kodarma 87, Ranchi 51, Ramgarh 44, Gumla 39, Hazaribagh 38, West Singhbhum 34, Chatra 17, Jamtara 16, Seraikela 16, Lohardaga 14, Pakur 14, Garhwa 12, Latehar 10, Khunti 6, Dhanbad 5, Bokaro 3, Giridih 2 and Palamu 1.
