Movies have a large fan following in the city of Jamshedpur. Although the city does not have too many multiplexes, it has a huge audience for Bollywood cinema. There was a time when Jamshedpur had abotu 10 cinema halls. However, with time, most have been shut down. Right now, the city has at least 2 multiplexes, one in Bistupur and one in Mango and one cinema hall in Mango, namely Payal Talkies.
