Town Post exists because staying informed in India shouldn’t require wading through clickbait, opinion dressed as news, or 47 notifications that all say the same thing.
We cover politics, business, tech, science, sports, and culture. Every story gets three things: what happened, why it matters, and what comes next. No spin. No filler. No shouting.
How we work
Every article on Town Post is an original summary written by our editorial desk. We read the primary sources, pull out what matters, add the context most outlets skip, and write it in plain language. We always link to the original reporting so you can go deeper if you want to.
We do not copy-paste from wire services. We do not rewrite press releases and call it journalism. We do not publish headlines designed to make you angry so you click.
What we are not
We are not a breaking news wire. If a story breaks at 2pm, we would rather publish a clear, contextualized summary at 5pm than a breathless, half-wrong alert at 2:01pm.
We are not an opinion site. When we have a perspective, we label it clearly. News coverage stays neutral.
Why “Town Post”
Every town needs a reliable notice board — a place where you get the real story without the noise. That is what we are building, for all of India.
If you find Town Post useful, share it with someone who would too.
