Ormanjhi Police Race Against Time in Heinous Triple Homicide Linked to Livestock Feud
Jharkhand’s Ormanjhi village witnesses a horrifying triple murder due to a minor altercation over pig grazing, sparking swift police action and multiple arrests.
RANCHI – A chilling wave of horror engulfed Jhanjhitola village, located 25 km away from Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, as three individuals were savagely murdered over a dispute concerning pig grazing.
The victims, all belonging to the same family, have been identified as Janeshwar Bedia, Sarita Devi, and Sanju Devi.
A clash erupted between two parties over the crop grazing by pigs which escalated into a violent crime.
An armed mob of approximately a dozen individuals targeted the family, killing them with sticks, sharp weapons, and farming tools.
Ormanjhi police promptly arrived at the crime scene after receiving word of the murders.
The deceased were transferred to RIMS Hospital for postmortem examinations.
Four suspects have been apprehended thus far, and police are actively conducting raids to seize the remaining criminals.
Rural SP of Ranchi, Haris Bin Zaman, described the killings as the culmination of an ongoing dispute between the two families over pig grazing.
A village council had been convened to resolve the issue, but the situation tragically escalated, resulting in the murders.
The police are committed to apprehending all perpetrators involved in this ghastly act as soon as possible.
