1500 Saplings Planted in Jamshedpur Reflects Tata Steel UISL’s Two-Decade Commitment to Sustainability and Community
Tata Steel UISL celebrates its 20th anniversary by planting 1500 saplings in Jamshedpur, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL) commemorated its 20th anniversary with a significant tree plantation drive today.
The event took place at Jamshedpur Parivar, in front of Swarnarekha flats in Sakchi.
Senior SP Prabhat Kumar was the chief guest, joined by several dignitaries, including Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman of Tata Steel UISL, and Ritu Raj Sinha, the company’s Managing Director.
The event was also attended by prominent members from Town O&M and RE, as well as presidents of JSU and TWU.
Ritu Raj Sinha emphasized that the plantation drive marks two decades of responsible growth and positive social impact for Tata Steel UISL.
A variety of tree species were planted, ranging from Teak and Bakul to Mahogany and Shisham, totaling 1500 saplings.
The event was not just an anniversary celebration but a reaffirmation of the company’s long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
