In an Ode to Women’s Equality, Kashidih High School Hosts Inter-School Photography Contest with Distinguished Jury
Jamshedpur’s Kashidih High School’s Equality Club celebrated Women’s Equality Day in style, hosting an inter-school photography competition with an esteemed panel of judges and diverse participation.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Equality Club at Kashidih High School pulled out all the stops to celebrate Women’s Equality Day.
The event featured an Inter-School Photography Competition that witnessed a turnout from thirteen schools across the city.
Participating schools included renowned names such as Gulmohar School-Telco, St. Mary’s English High School, and Motilal Nehru Public School, among others.
The photographs were critically evaluated by a distinguished panel, comprising local photography icons Gabri Brothers – Mr. Daljit Singh Gabri and Ranjit Singh Gabri, Mr. Sunny Choudhary, and Mr. Harjinder Singh of Sunny Photography.
Social activist and trans leader working for LGBTQIA, along with Mr. Souvik Saha, Founder of People for Change, graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour.
In the end, it was Gulmohar High School that clinched the top spot in Group 1, while Sri Krishna Public School took home the trophy for Group 2.
Runners-up were Sri Sri Ravi Shankar High School Ghatshila and Jusco School South Park.
Vice Principal Mr. Rakesh Pandey delivered the vote of thanks, praising the core committee’s diligent work.
This committee was spearheaded by Ms. Shania Nanra, the moderator of the Equality Club, and included Ms. Neha, Ms. Pooja Verma, Ms. Shalini, Mrs. Shilpa Kaur, and Mrs. Deepti Rani Mishra.
