A 240% Boost in QUEERious 2.0: LGBTQIA+ Talent Takes Center Stage at Tata Steel
Tata Steel concludes QUEERious 2.0, celebrating LGBTQIA+ talent in India with record registration numbers, internships, and inclusive opportunities.
JAMSHEDPUR – The competition, QUEERious 2.0, organized by Tata Steel for LGBTQIA+ students across India, concluded with a grand finale attended by the company’s senior leadership.
In a significant achievement, this edition of QUEERious witnessed a 240% increase in registrations compared to its predecessor.
Tata Steel expressed its unwavering commitment to elevating LGBTQIA+ voices and fostering inclusive corporate landscapes.

The top three winners were awarded cash prizes, along with opportunities for internships and pre-placement offers within the organization.
The competition featured three intriguing business case studies on diversity and inclusion, sustainable steel manufacturing, and the development of a green steel ecosystem at Tata Steel.
QUEERious 2.0 registered an impressive 1615 participants from 117 campuses.
Reflecting on the success of the previous edition, where 10 finalists were rewarded with cash prizes and paid internships, this year’s edition took the initiative to new heights.
The underlying goal of QUEERious is to integrate LGBTQIA+ talent into the corporate sphere through case study resolutions and significant internship opportunities.
