JAMSHEDPUR – A fault in the motor of the Bagbera Colony Water Supply Scheme has disrupted water supply in the area for the last two days.
Residents of Bagbera Colony are facing problems due to the motor failure.
To mitigate the issue, water was supplied to various places in the colony through tankers on Sunday.
The places where water was supplied include Durga Puja Maidan, Ganesh Puja Maidan, Chitragupt Puja Maidan, Nehru Maidan, Dispensary Maidan, Kunwar Singh Maidan, Gurudwara, near the water tank, Rajendra Middle School, Kali Mandir 4 No. Road, and 6 No. Road.
This situation adds to the ongoing challenges for the residents of Bagbera Colony, as water has been supplied to 8 panchayats of Bagbera and Kitadih Zilla Parishad area through tankers since February 27.
Locals said that the temporary measures are essential, but they underscore the urgency of fixing the faulty motor to restore normal water supply in the area.
The local leaders urged the authorities to expedite the necessary repairs to alleviate the strain on the residents of these areas.
