Union Ministry Bhardwaj’s Visit to Surda’s Copper Mines Sparks Hope for Musabani Group
Union Ministry Mines Secretary Vivek Bhardwaj made a significant visit to the Indian Copper Complex (ICC) Director Bungalow at Moubhandar, Ghatshila along with key officials, triggering optimism regarding the reopening of the Musabani Group of Mines.
JAMSHEDPUR – Union Mines Secretary Vivek Bhardwaj was accompanied by HCL CMD Ghanshyam Sharma and director (mines) Sanjeev Kumar Singh as they inspected ICC’s copper mines in Surda.
The high-profile visit is expected to be followed by discussions with the Jharkhand Chief Secretary and Mines Secretary concerning the mines in Ranchi.
ICC employees are hopeful that the visit will expedite the reopening of the Musabani Group of Mines, which has been closed for an extended period due to various factors.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Mahato also met the Mines Secretary, advocating a sincere effort towards reopening the mines.
