BJP Leader Suspects Toxic Substances, SDO Orders Post-Mortem
Four cows found dead in Hattondih, Saraikela; authorities probe possible toxic substances involved.
SERAIKELA – Four cows were found dead in Hattondih at Saraikela.
Saraikela’s Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Suresh Kumar Sinha, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nitish Kumar, the former Ward Councillor Jugal Tape, and the BJP leader Manoj Kumar Choudhary arrived at the site after receiving information.
The SDO instructed the District Animal Husbandry Officer to conduct a post-mortem and initiate a probe.
An autopsy team was formed to conduct the post-mortem.
The post-mortem report will determine the course of further action.
The BJP leader suspects the cows may have swallowed toxic substances like carbide.
A carbide carton was found near one of the deceased cows.
The BJP leader has suggested issuing strict instructions to fruit vendors to dispose of carbide waste safely.
