JAMSHEDPUR – The Vande Bharat Express is poised to make travel between Varanasi and Tatanagar more accessible, with plans to connect several important cities via rail.
The new line is expected to simplify the journey to Varanasi, bringing this cultural hub closer to the people of Jamshedpur.
There are also talks of commencing Ranchi-Kolkata operations shortly, a move that would further strengthen the transportation network in the region.
The logistics of running trains on the Tata-Purulia-Bokaro-Gomoh-Gaya-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay-Varanasi route are being assessed, and Tata and Ranchi would require different rakes for this purpose.
A survey has been initiated to help the Railway Ministry decide whether to run Vande Bharat Express trains from Jamshedpur and Ranchi to Varanasi, a decision that could greatly impact travel convenience in the area.
The South Eastern Railway zone is actively surveying this line for operationalization, showcasing a commitment to enhancing rail connectivity.
From Tatanagar to Varanasi, Jharkhand will soon launch another Vande Bharat train, adding to the existing infrastructure and facilitating seamless travel.
