Adityapur Municipal Corporation Honors Brave Women, Freedom Fighters, and Kargil War Heroes
Adityapur Municipal Corporation organizes Meri Mati Mera Desh program to honor brave women of martyrs, freedom fighters, and Kargil warriors with bouquets and shawls.
ADITYAPUR – A heartwarming event took place at Hotel Park Auditorium, Adityapur.
Adityapur Municipal Corporation organized the Meri Mati Mera Desh program, honoring the brave women of the martyrs, including retired soldiers and warriors of the Kargil war.
Among those honored were freedom fighter Akhori Baleshwar Sinha, ex-servicemen Kunwar Singh, Bhushan Singh, Sunita Devi, Anita Singh, and Seema Devi.
Administrator Girija Shankar Prasad conducted the program, saluting the brave martyrs and remembering all the heroes who grew in the soil of this country.
The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by lighting a lamp in memory of the heroes and administering an oath of integrity and commitment to the nation’s development.
Soil was collected from all the municipal bodies of Kolhan and brought to the Adityapur Corporation office, which will be sent to Delhi.
A Shilapatta near Amrit Sarovar was also unveiled as a tribute to the martyrs of Kashidih, adding a touch of reverence to the occasion.
Several prominent figures were present, including City Manager Devashish Pradhan, Kuldeep Singh, Payal Kumari, Lemanshu Kumar, Saurabh Kumar Verma, Shashi Shekhar, Motaya Banra, Shikha Kumari, Satyam Bhardwaj, Priya Vishwakarma, and others.
