JAMSHEDPUR – The sun’s descent on the auspicious day marked the departure of Shiv Bhakts, leaving behind hearts filled with respect and gratitude, as they carried blessings and positive energies obtained through their sacred observances.
The soothing sounds of "bhajans" and the pleasing fragrance of incense pervaded the atmosphere, creating a peaceful and celestial setting as the devotees celebrated their faith together in beautiful unity.
Considered a time of heightened spiritual vitality, the fifth Monday of Shravan allowed followers to cleanse their minds and souls through zealous worship, under the guidance of priests and local spiritual leaders.
Engaging in mantra chanting, reading hymns, and offering "belpatra" with profound humility and reverence, the worshippers carried out the traditional "abhishek" of the venerated idol of Lord Shiva with milk, honey, and other propitious substances.
