In a determined action against narcotics, Jamshedpur police conducted a raid, detained two suspects, and seized 100 liters of illicit Mahua liquor from a vehicle in Oraon Basti.
JAMSHEDPUR – Acting swiftly on confidential information, the Jamshedpur police launched a search operation in the Oraon Basti neighborhood near the Sitaramdera police station, halting the sale of illicit alcohol and detaining two suspects.
The police, led by DSP Headquarters 1 Virendra Ram, seized 100 liters of illicit Mahua liquor from a Maruti 800 vehicle in Oraon Basti.
The two suspects were identified as S Pal, also known as B Pal, a resident of New Layout, and his accomplice S Nag.
According to DSP Virendra Ram, the police were tipped off that illicit alcohol was being transported in the area, leading to the successful raid and the detention of the suspects.
Both individuals were subsequently arrested and jailed, reflecting the determined efforts by the Jamshedpur police in their ongoing fight against narcotics and illegal alcohol.
