Ex-Jamshedpur BJP President, Dinesh Kumar, criticizes the Hemant government and hospital mismanagement at MGM, demands action.
JAMSHEDPUR – Former Jamshedpur Metropolitan BJP District President, Dinesh Kumar, has called out the apparent disorder in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Hospital, considered to be Kolhan’s lifeline.
Kumar questioned the intent of the Hemant government, criticizing the power failure in MGM as an indicator of a lack of political will.
The BJP leader stated that MGM’s system is at an all-time low, and pointed out the state health minister’s lack of sensitivity towards the situation. He expressed deep concern about the ongoing resource shortage in Kolhan’s biggest hospital, and suggested that the power failure in a crucial emergency institution like MGM, as well as the unavailability of an alternate power source, is a sign of gross negligence and corruption.
Kumar demanded the Medical Council of India to take suo moto cognizance of the matter and initiate an inquiry, urging the District Deputy Commissioner to do the same at his level.
