Former MLA and BJP State Spokesperson for Jharkhand Kunal Sarangi provides free drinking water to Jamshedpur’s underprivileged residents.
JAMSHEDPUR – Former MLA and BJP State Spokesperson for Jharkhand, Kunal Sarangi, has embarked on an initiative to supply pure drinking water to underprivileged families in Jamshedpur, in light of the region’s severe water shortage amid scorching heat.
He has arranged for a 12,000-liter tanker to provide the service to residents of Harhargattu Jharkhand Nagar, Karandih, Parsudih, Keetadih, and Bagbera in Jamshedpur.
The initiative was formally inaugurated by former Zilla Parishad member Sudipto De Rana on Thursday.
The need for this service arose due to the falling water table and lack of piped water in many areas of Jamshedpur, which has made access to potable water a major challenge for the local population.
Sarangi explained that his initiative would meet this need by providing free drinking water to these communities.
Residents have warmly received the initiative, expressing gratitude for the much-needed support. Various local figures attended the inauguration, including Ghaghidih Mandal President Sandeep Sharma Bobby, BK Singh, Arvind Singh, Ranjit Sharma, and Bittu Shah.
