In honor of World Environment Day, Nitara Foundation initiates a tree-planting campaign at Khairbani School, aiming to plant 70-100 trees for a greener future.
JAMSHEDPUR – Marking World Environment Day, the Nitara Foundation launched a tree plantation drive in Samu Tola, at the upgraded primary school in Khairbani. 10 fruit trees, including mango, guava, and pomegranate trees, took root in this promising initiative.
Amit Kumar, the organization’s secretary, revealed that the program’s ambitious goal is to plant between 70 to 100 trees, commencing on this global day dedicated to environmental preservation.
The school was graced with the presence of Dr. Paritosh Singh, a Zilla Parishad member from Chhota Govindpur, who functioned as the chief guest.
Dr. Singh highlighted the importance of Environment Day and educated the children on environmental conservation, elucidating the benefits of tree planting.
With rapt attention, the students absorbed Dr. Singh’s invaluable insights.
