A bus traveling from Chaibasa to Bhagalpur via Tata caught fire on the Jamshedpur-Patamda road. Fortunately, no passengers were injured.
JAMSHEDPUR – A passenger bus, named Shankar Parvati, spontaneously ignited on the Jamshedpur-Patamda road within the Patmada police station area in Jamshedpur.
The fire occurred suddenly and quickly enveloped the entire bus, reducing it to ashes.
The bus was en route from Chaibasa to Bhagalpur via Tata when the incident happened. Passengers were promptly evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
Onlookers gathered around the scene, capturing photos and videos of the burning bus.
The incident reportedly happened at 6:00 PM on Monday and caused a temporary halt of traffic. The cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation is expected to be launched.
Local emergency services were alerted and attended the scene promptly.
The bus was left completely charred from the fire, but it is indeed a fortunate escape for the passengers who were aboard.
