Armed Robbery at Mango Ulidih Courier Office: ₹29,000 and Mobile Stolen

Armed criminals rob courier office in Mango Ulidih, Jamshedpur, escaping with ₹29,000 and a mobile phone. Police initiate investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking daylight robbery, two armed miscreants entered a courier office in Mango Ulidih, Jamshedpur, robbing an office employee and making away with ₹29,000 and a mobile phone.

The office is located in the Shiv Mandir line of the Ulidih police station area.

The duo targeted employee Anoop Kumar Sharma, threatening him with their weapons and eventually looting him of his possessions.

After the harrowing ordeal, Sharma immediately alerted his superiors and lodged a formal complaint at the Ulidih police station.

Upon receiving the complaint, local law enforcement promptly initiated an investigation, filing an FIR against the two unidentified individuals.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:30 PM, was caught on the office’s CCTV system.

During the incident, Sharma recalls one of the assailants wearing half pants and a helmet.

They brandished a pistol at him, threatened his life, and made away with the money and mobile phone.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing, with the police hoping to apprehend the criminals soon.
