To mark its 22nd anniversary, the Jharkhand Bangbhashi Samanvay Samiti hosted a Grand Music Evening at Sakchi Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday, under the aegis of Jharkhand Bangbhashi Samanvay Samiti, a Grand Music Evening was held to celebrate the organization’s 22nd anniversary.
The event took place at Sakchi Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium.
Ashish Chowdhary, General Secretary of the Jamshedpur Tagore Society, was the chief guest for the evening. Social worker Dolan Dey and Zilla Parishad member Purnima Malik graced the occasion as special guests.
The event was conducted by Sandeep Sinha Chaudhary, General Secretary of the organization.
The evening commenced with the lighting of the lamp and an offering of flowers to portraits of poet Guru Ravindra Nath Tagore and rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Vikas Mukherjee, the president of the organization, subsequently detailed the accomplishments of the organization over the years.
A souvenir documenting the language movement and the work of Jharkhand Bangabhashi Samanvay Samiti over the past 22 years was also released during the event.
The program featured multiple musical presentations. Chandana Chowdhary, the principal of Tagore Academy and a renowned local musician, and her team presented Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Geeti. Deep Chatterjee, a finalist of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023 from Kolkata and a famous folk singer of Bengal, captivated the audience with his performance.
Prominent attendees of the event included Vikas Mukherjee, Sandeep Sinha Chowdhary, Nepal Das, Vishwajit Mandal, Poorabi Ghosh, Arijit Sarkar, Uday Shome, Arup Chowdhuri, Dilip Kumar Mahto, Ravindra Nath Das, and many others.
