Registered Wards Submit Memorandum to Tata Workers Union President

Registered wards suggest improvements for recruitment and employment in Tata Steel’s new company.

JAMSHEDPUR – Registered sons and daughters of Tata Steel employees have handed a memorandum to Sanjeev Chowdhary Tunnu, the President of the Tata Workers Union, the recognized union of Tata Steel.

This memorandum encompasses several written suggestions about the recruitment and employment process for registered candidates in the new company set to be formed within Tata Steel.

The petitioners have suggested that the principal basis for reinstatement within the company should favor registered employee’s offspring.

In cases where the employee’s sons are older than the established age limit, they should have the option to transfer their registration to their own sons or daughters in the second generation.

Further, the memorandum suggests that reinstatement of the registered ones in the new company should be based on preference, with the age limit set between 48 to 50 years.

Moreover, the petitioners demanded that the protection of the Tata Workers Union be extended to the new company.

They also suggested that all registered sons, once employed, should not be required to relocate from Jamshedpur.

They emphasized the necessity to ensure that the registered sons continue to enjoy the same benefits currently offered by Tata Steel, even after the formation of the new company.

They concluded that there should be no grounds, including medical, for denying the reinstatement of any of the registered sons.
