Desk: After the smashing box office performance of Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story, the next blockbuster movie on the cards is likely to be Ajmer 92.

The movie has already started evoking interest and drawing criticisms from the well-known liberals.

And if Indian leftists and liberals look at something tangentially, it is almost certain that the thing will be liked by the masses and will likely make a massive impact on the people and the popular culture.

At least on this front, one can trust the hate instincts of Indian seculars and liberals.

They know what the masses would like.

And therefore they can smell the public love for something from miles away.

Ajmer 92 has all the ingredients that have drawn huge interest in recent times.

An issue that was swept under a carpet for too long for fake ‘secular’ reasons.

A truth that was blocked from the people for reasons unknown.

And if people are drawn to such stories, you cannot blame them for that.

Following the success of “Kashmir Files” and “The Kerala Story”, expectations are high for the upcoming film, “Ajmer 92”.

Releasing on July 14, 2023, the film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, U&K Films Entertainment, Sumit Motion Pictures, and Little Crew Pictures.

Noted film critic, Taran Adarsh, confirmed the release date via Twitter.

Based on true events from 1992 in Ajmer, Rajasthan, “Ajmer 92” brings to light the grim story of approximately 250 girls who were trapped, sexually exploited, and blackmailed by caretakers of Ajmer Dargah and influential local figures, including Congress leaders.

With an ensemble cast, the film aims to reveal a disturbing truth that has been obscured for decades.

Sushil Sachdeva, one of the film’s producers, voiced his intentions to educate the public about the horrendous ordeal these girls endured.

Originally slated to be a web series titled “Ajmer Files” by Tips, the narrative’s potential was recognized and it was transformed into a feature film.

With its compelling storyline and the audience’s preference for theatrical experiences, “Ajmer 92” promises to be a gripping and poignant portrayal of real-life events.

“Ajmer 92” joins a series of successful films uncovering hidden aspects of India’s history and societal issues, and is poised to make a substantial impact at the box office, following in the footsteps of “The Kerala Story”, which earned Rs. 216 crores within 22 days.
