Tata Steel’s summer camp concludes, instilling joy in 300 children post-Covid with a blend of activities and learning experiences.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s much-anticipated mega summer camp drew to a close on Friday in Jamshedpur’s JRD Tata Stadium, ending on a high note for approximately 300 participating children.
A broad spectrum of activities kept the young ones engaged throughout the camp. Not only were they involved in various indoor and outdoor events, but they also learned the nuances of yoga and daily exercise routines, establishing a healthy mix of fun and learning.

The summer camp was inaugurated by Chanakya Chowdhary, VP of Tata Steel, marking the first such event in the city since the Covid-19 period.
It successfully bridged the gap that the pandemic had created, giving children the much-needed opportunity to socialize and learn in a safe and enjoyable environment.
One Tata Steel official said: “The children, having thoroughly enjoyed the camp, went home with a treasure trove of memories, making it a resounding success for Tata Steel and a promising sign for the return of more such events in the future.”
