The Jamshedpur road safety meeting leads to action against encroachments and the use of banned plastic bags, resulting in a fine collection of Rs 28,300.
JAMSHEDPUR – In the wake of a road safety meeting in the notified area of Jamshedpur, swift action was taken to eliminate roadside encroachments and penalize environmental offenses.
As per the Deputy Commissioner’s order and under the guidance of the Special Officer, a flying squad was deployed in various areas to carry out these operations.
The flying squad, led by City Manager Ravi Bharti and Tax Inspector M KL Das, conducted operations in Sakchi, Kadma area, and Sakchi Strait Mile Road.
During these operations, a total of 21 people were fined for using banned plastic carry bags and operating campaign vehicles without proper authorization.
The total amount of fines collected in these exercises was Rs 28,300.
The members of the flying squad also included Anay Raj, and regional revenue personnel Prakash Bhagat, Binod Tiwari, Krishna Ram, Ganesh Ram. This operation is part of a broader initiative to improve road safety and environmental consciousness in the Jamshedpur area.
