A hotel operator Adam Khan was brutally attacked by Chhotu over a minor dispute in the Bistupur police station area, Jamshedpur. The assailant fled the scene.
JAMSHEDPUR – A hotel operator, Adam Khan, popularly known as Billa, was attacked by a young man in a dispute near the Chuna Shah Baba Mazar, situated in the Bistupur police station area of Jamshedpur.
Adam sustained injuries on his chest, shoulder, and arm after being stabbed at three places.
The incident occurred when the attacker visited Adam’s hotel and had a disagreement over a change of slippers, leading to a heated argument and eventual physical assault.
The accused, in the midst of the dispute, drew out a knife and attacked Adam.
Adam Khan was rescued from the volatile situation by intervening locals who managed to free him from Chhotu’s assault.
Following the attack, Adam was rushed to the MGM Hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries.
The assailant has absconded after the incident and is currently at large.
The Bistupur police are on the lookout for him and are working on leads to capture the perpetrator.
