Jamshedpur district headquarters turns into a battlefield as a family dispute leads to a fistfight between sisters, five people taken into custody.
JAMSHEDPUR – A family dispute turned violent on Friday afternoon in Jamshedpur, transforming the district headquarters into a veritable battlefield.
The incident involved two sisters who broke into a fistfight, creating a chaotic scene in the DC-SSP office premises for a time.

After receiving information about the situation, the Bishtupur police swiftly intervened, taking five people from both sides into custody. Preparations for strict action are underway as per instructions from senior officials.
As per available details, N Kumari, a resident of Kadma, had filed a harassment case against her husband, S Kumar, back in 2019. Later, admitting her error, N Kumari registered another case against her sister L Singh from Mango, alleging that she had lodged a false case against her husband under L Singh’s pressure.
A court hearing concerning this matter was scheduled for Friday, which also witnessed a clash between the two parties.
Afterwards, Li Singh and two supporters visited the district headquarters to lodge a complaint. Nisha and her husband arrived on the scene, leading to a physical altercation between the two parties right in front of DSP Virendra Ram’s chamber.
The police promptly separated the brawling parties and the Bistupur police station is set to take action concerning the assault that took place at the district headquarters.
