A man is apprehended by Chandil police for stealing valuable items from a car parked near Pardih Kali temple, with the stolen goods now recovered.
JAMSHEDPUR – Chandil police, in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district, have made a breakthrough in a case involving the theft of a chain, ring, mobile phone, Aadhaar card, PAN card, passbook, and cash from a vehicle parked near the Pardih Kali temple.
The authorities have arrested a young man, Mohammad S alias Lefty, in connection with the crime and he has subsequently been sent to judicial custody.
The items recovered by the police include stolen purses, daily use items, a mobile phone from the Oppo company, and Rs 4,000 in cash.
Inspector Pascal Toppo, providing information on the matter, stated that the investigation was launched following the complaint lodged by the plaintiff.
The investigation led the police to Mohammad S alias Lefty, whose involvement was ascertained through the process.
He was apprehended from Taj Nagar under the jurisdiction of Kapali OP.
Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to his crime and has since been remanded to judicial custody.
