AJSU Party declares ‘Year of Agitation’, gearing up to attract key leaders to strengthen its presence in East Singhbhum district.
JAMSHEDPUR – The All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) Party is preparing to step up its activities and strengthen its foothold in East Singhbhum district.
According to Kanhaiya Singh, the district president of the party, there are plans to draw significant state leaders into AJSU’s ranks.
A meeting of the AJSU Party District Committee was held at 11 am on Thursday, 25th May 2023, at Nirmal Guest House. Kanhaiya Singh presided over the meeting where discussions were held on various topics including the poor leadership in the state, the deteriorating condition of electricity, and the need for public agitation.
He declared this year as the ‘Year of Agitation’ for the AJSU party.
Ramchandra Sahis, the party’s central chief general secretary, stated that the AJSU’s popularity in the state is on the rise.
He stressed that only AJSU is fully attuned to the needs and sentiments of the state’s populace.
In his view, the current government has been disappointing, with the sectors of education, health services, farming, irrigation, and industry all failing.
Sahis further stated that AJSU’s cadre won’t fear any backlash and will strongly resist policies that are detrimental to the people.
Sahis revealed that prominent state leaders will soon join the AJSU party in East Singhbhum, and that the party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto will formally welcome them into the fold.
He emphasized that the formalities for this membership acquisition have been completed.
Several party officials, including Prof. Ravi Shankar Maurya, Chandragupt Singh, Deepak Aggarwal, and Phanibhushan Mahato, were also present at the meeting.
