President Draupadi Murmu has arrived in Jharkhand for a three-day visit, welcomed by CM Hemant Soren and Governor CP Radhakrishnan.
Ranchi – President Draupadi Murmu has landed in Jharkhand today for a three-day official visit. The President arrived at Deoghar Airport in a special Indian Air Force aircraft where she was greeted by Governor CP Radhakrishnan with a welcoming bouquet.
Shortly afterwards, President Murmu performed puja and prayers at the renowned Baba Vaidyanath Dham temple.
After that as scheduled she left for Ranchi, where Chief Minister Hemant Soren received her at the airport.

The President’s itinerary included visiting the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple, one of the 12 ‘jyotirlingas’, and inaugurating the new complex of the Jharkhand High Court.
She will also grace the second convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Ranchi and participate in a programme in Khunti.
This visit marks her second to the state after assuming the office of the President.
Elaborate arrangements have been made in the state for the President’s visit.
