BJP OBC Morcha carries out a one-day sit-in across district headquarters, protesting issues of OBC reservations and caste certificate issuance.
JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP OBC Morcha staged a one-day sit-in protest across all district headquarters, including Jamshedpur, expressing their grievances on critical issues.
The State President of BJP OBC Morcha, Amardeep Yadav, was among the participants in the dharna at Jamshedpur district headquarters.
Joined by fellow BJP workers, he led chants against the state government, accusing it of creating a façade of 27 percent OBC reservation in the state, with negligible benefits actually reaching the grassroots.
A crucial issue raised during the protest was the alleged non-issuance of caste certificates to members of the OBC community. Many are being denied access to government facilities due to this problem, adding to their existing struggles.
In a state-wide demonstration of discontent, a demand letter addressing these concerns was submitted to the Governor.
The BJP OBC Morcha demands concrete actions to address these issues and ensure that the benefits of reservation reach the intended beneficiaries.
