Jamshedpur – In a bid to empower women and promote self-reliance, the Bhumihar Mahila Samaj in Jamshedpur organized an employment camp at Bramharshi Bhavan, Kadma.
The camp saw women showcasing and selling a variety of handmade items, including pickles, papad, badi, and home decoration materials.
Besides offering a platform for these entrepreneurs, the camp aimed to raise awareness about self-employment opportunities and provide guidance on setting up small-scale industries.
Leaders of the Bhumihar Mahila Samaj offered many tips and innovative business solutions to all the women participants, assisting them in laying the foundation for their ventures.
Annu Devi, the president of the society, emphasized the need for women to be self-sufficient in today’s era.
She further highlighted that women could initiate several types of small-scale industries from their homes with minimal investment.
The society’s primary objective, she explained, was to ensure that every woman becomes self-reliant, and this camp was an effort towards achieving this goal.
