Monday Night, a garage near Tata Workers Union School in Jamshedpur was set ablaze, destroying vehicles and leading to community discontent due to delayed fire services.
Jamshedpur – In a shocking incident last night, a garage near Tata Workers Union School on Bhatia Basti Main Road, under the jurisdiction of Kadma police station in Jamshedpur, was set on fire.
The fire, allegedly started by mischievous elements, caused considerable damage, resulting in three motorcycles and six bicycles being reduced to ashes.
The delayed response from local fire services has sparked widespread outrage amongst the public.
Despite the immediate reporting of the incident, the fire engine did not arrive on scene until 40 minutes later, by which time local residents had begun to control the fire themselves.

Preliminary estimates suggest the incident has caused a substantial loss of around 5 to 6 lakh rupees.
At present, affected individuals are assessing their losses while the fire’s origins remain unclear. Kadma police station has been informed and officers are actively investigating the incident.
Despite the tragic losses, community spirit prevailed as local residents rallied together to combat the fire before professional help arrived.
