Patna Police seize a hoard of counterfeit notes and printing equipment from a posh locality, arresting two individuals.
Patna – In a major breakthrough, the Patna Police have uncovered a counterfeit currency operation flourishing in a high-end locality of the Bihar capital.

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the operation, which was being run from the Raja Ram Apartment on Boring Road, one of the most posh areas of Patna.
Acting on a tip-off, the SK Puri police team conducted a raid at the location and managed to recover around 1.5 lakh rupees in fake notes.
The seized counterfeit currency consisted of various denominations including 500 and 200 rupee notes.

Additionally, the police also confiscated the printing equipment being used to produce the fake notes.
The police are now deepening their investigation into this counterfeit operation to uncover any further individuals or networks involved.
This incident, involving the circulation of fake currency, has brought to light a grave concern for the local economy and the authorities are treating it with utmost seriousness.
