The Vishwakarma Samaj of Jamshedpur calls for justice after the assault of Ramesh Vishwakarma’s family in an ongoing land dispute, prompting community involvement.
Jamshedpur – Members of the Vishwakarma Samaj in Jamshedpur have appealed to the Sitaramdera police for justice, following a violent altercation related to a land dispute under the jurisdiction of the same police station.
They claimed that on May 19, Sonu Sahu, accompanied by his brother and friends, reportedly attacked the family of Ramesh Vishwakarma near Home Pipe under the Sitaramdera police station’s territory.
The assault occurred despite Ramesh’s father being hospitalized at MGM Hospital due to injuries.
The family’s home was intruded upon by Sahu and his associates, where they purportedly resumed their violent behavior.
Outraged by the incident, members of the Vishwakarma Samaj approached the Sitaramdera police station, urging the station in-charge to take action.
The incident was also reported to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the district.
The District President of Vishwakarma Samaj stated that the community stands in solidarity with Ramesh Vishwakarma’s family and pledged support as needed.
