An enlightening 12-day workshop for IGNOU’s B.Ed Programme, inaugurated by prominent educationists at Jamshedpur Women’s University, unfolds a promising educational journey.
Jamshedpur – The 12-day workshop for the IGNOU B.Ed Programme Session 2022 was inaugurated with much enthusiasm at the Seminar Hall of Jamshedpur Women’s University’s Faculty of Education.
The esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta, presided as the event’s Chief Guest, accompanied by the IGNOU Coordinator, Dr. Tripura Jha, and University CVC, Dr. Annapurna Jha.
Dr. Jha initiated the event with an impassioned performance of Saraswati Vandana.
The Vice-Chancellor and CVC were felicitated with saplings and souvenirs.
Prof. Gupta motivated the aspiring teachers with a talk on practical aspects of lesson planning, emphasizing the pivotal role of educators in shaping students’ learning experiences.
She also underscored the importance of interconnections among different curriculum areas and expressed optimism that the workshop would yield an enriching learning experience.
Dr. Tripura Jha welcomed students from various states including Haryana, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand. She gave an overview of the B.Ed programme and stressed the significance of skill development and active participation.
Dr. Annapurna Jha, the CVC, highlighted the significance of efficiency and discipline in teaching. Meanwhile, guest scholar Dr. Arpit Suman from Kolhan University presented a session on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, elucidating the ongoing transformations in teacher education.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Neha Suruchi Minj, assistant programme coordinator.
All participating tutors offered support and guidance throughout the session, promising a fruitful workshop ahead.
