Accused of several cases causes terror in Islamnagar, Jamshedpur, after opening fire on local resident Md Sameer, who escaped unscathed.
Jamshedpur – Tension swept through Islamnagar under the Jugsalai police station in Jamshedpur when an accused of several cases fired at one Mohammad Sameer, a resident of the area.
Sameer, however, narrowly escaped this potentially deadly incident.
According to Sameer, the accused, reportedly has several cases registered under the CC Act and had recently been released from jail.
Since his release, he’s been continually harassing local residents, with his actions creating an atmosphere of fear in the neighborhood.
According to Sameer, he has been involved in several incidents of theft and intimidation.
Just last Saturday, the accused allegedly targeted guests returning from a wedding in Habib Nagar.
He then attempted to snatch the car of the wedding host’s son, Mohammad Shabbo, earlier today.
When Shabbo’s younger son Sameer stood up to him, he responded by firing two shots at him. Sameer, however, managed to evade the bullets.
Sameer Khan has reported that the accused has been repeatedly trying to instill fear among the locals and has been involved in numerous snatching incidents.
Upon learning of the incident, Ankit Kumar, a local police officer, arrived at the scene with a team, where they found two empty cartridges.
An official investigation is underway, though the police have declined to comment further at this time.
