The state-of-the-art Adityapur Police Station in Seraikela, equipped with the latest facilities, opens to the public, marking a step towards hi-tech policing.
Jamshedpur – In A significant advancement towards hi-tech policing, the new Adityapur Police Station in Seraikela district, was inaugurated by Seraikela SP Anand Prakash on Sunday amidst Vedic chanting.
The grand opening was presided over by SP Anand Prakash and attended by notable figures including Trainee IAS Sumit Thakur, SDPO Harvinder Singh, Station House Officer Rajan Kumar, and other community leaders and police personnel.

Built by the Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation at a cost of approximately two and a half crores, the construction of this state-of-the-art facility was completed in about nine months.
The police station is equipped with cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Seraikela SP Anand Prakash praised the commitment of the station in-charge to curbing crime in the area, promising continued efforts in the future.
He also spoke about the state government’s efforts to upgrade the police force with hi-tech resources.
These enhancements include new vehicles, laptops for police officers, and measures to tackle crime and cybercrime. He also assured increased resources for the Adityapur police station, considering the region’s population.
Regarding the stored scrap at the police station, SP Prakash disclosed plans to dispose of scraps related to already resolved cases on senior officials’ orders soon.
Furthermore, he announced that two more police stations are to be inaugurated in the district, with construction work underway at Chandil and RIT police station.
