Jamshedpur’s first Bhagirath Shaheed Atma Shanti Mahayagya to honor and pray for peace for partition-era souls over a three-day event.
Jamshedpur – In an organized meeting at Shri Krishna Sinha Sansthan Bishtupur in Jamshedpur, the Bhagirath Shaheed Atma Shanti Mahayagya Committee has detailed their plans for a unique three-day Mahayagya event.
The Mahayagya aims to offer spiritual peace to the souls of the estimated 20 lakh Hindus who lost their lives during the partition of the country.
This event marks the first time such a Mahayagya is being organized in Jamshedpur and its surrounding areas.
Scheduled to occur on June 14th, 15th, and 16th at Jayaprakash Udyan in Adityapur, the Mahayagya is set to draw devotees from all over Kolhan.
These participants will join in collective prayer for the peace of the departed souls.
Chairman Ramesh Singh informed that the three-day program will conclude with the organizing of Bhandara, a communal meal, and a meeting at Shri Krishna Sansthan, Bistupur.
Ramesh Singh said that this significant event serves not only as a commemorative gesture but also as a demonstration of unity, shared grief, and hope for peaceful coexistence.
