Police in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district have apprehended three individuals connected to the stone-pelting murder of Raju Lohar, a local resident. The accused have been sent to judicial custody.
Seraikela – Police have made a breakthrough in the murder case of Raju Lohar, a resident of Podadih Geetakuti, under the Kuchai police station jurisdiction in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
Three individuals have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
The accused have been identified as Manu Munda alias Hathi, Shurumani Munda, and Sanika Pahan.
The police have also recovered the blood-stained stone, soil, and the clothes worn during the incident.

SDPO Harvinder Singh provided information on the case, explaining that Shurmani Munda was a widow and had been in a relationship with another man after her husband’s death. However, she left him and was living with Sanika Pahan for some time.
The deceased, Raju Lohar, was in a relationship with Shurmani, which angered Sanika. Consequently, Sanika, along with Shurmani and their associate Manu Munda alias Hathi, planned to eliminate Raju. According to the plan, they stoned Raju to death on May 8.
SDPO Harvinder Singh stated that all three accused individuals have confessed to their involvement in the murder. They are being sent to judicial custody after interrogation.
