Eight individuals, including advocate Chandan Choubey, implicated in the Kadma violence case, are granted bail by Jamshedpur court, sparking relief among supporters.
Jamshedpur – In a significant development in the Kadma violence case, eight people, including advocate Chandan Choubey, were granted bail by the Jamshedpur court on Wednesday.
All of them were released from Ghaghidih Central Jail on Thursday evening.
The defendants included advocates Chandan Choubey, Chandan Kumar Das, Bhola Lohar, Shankar Rao, Kanhaiya Pandey, Bhim Yadav, Anirudh Giri, and Rajesh Choubey. The court hearing was presided over by ADJ 2 Abhash Verma.

Their release brought waves of happiness to their supporters, with numerous advocates and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) members present to witness their release.
Previously, these eight individuals were arrested and jailed after going to deliver a memorandum to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in connection with the Shastri Nagar violence under Kadma police station, Jamshedpur.
They were accused of inciting the violence, leading to their detainment.
