Jamshedpur – A general store in Dhatkidih, under the jurisdiction of the Bistupur police station in Jamshedpur, fell victim to a robbery recently.
The thieves reportedly made away with cash and goods estimated to be worth between 20 and 25 thousand rupees. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The shopkeeper, who chose to remain anonymous, stated that he had locked up his store for the night and returned home.
When he arrived at the shop the following morning, he found the lock broken and the door ajar. Upon entering the shop, he discovered that items worth 10 to 15 thousand rupees were missing, along with approximately 10,000 rupees in cash.
The shopkeeper has lodged a formal complaint with the Bistupur police station. Authorities have yet to release any information about potential suspects or leads in the case.
